Bandicam won't let me record audio?

Postby Pirkulese » Fri Jul 19, 2013 9:36 am

I used the free version for about a week, and the audio worked fine. I was able to use a mic, and I was able to record in game audio. I liked the free version, so I decided to buy the full version of it. So I was going to record a YouTube video today, and I realized that my mic is not recording my voice. It was perfectly fine with the free version. Also, my OS is Windows 8. Please help!

Have you made sure that the mic is actually "recording" audio at all? Go into Audacity and check if anything comes out, if not. Check your Windows sounds, right-click on the sound icon in the bottom-right corner and click "Recording devices", right-click again on your microphone and go into "Properties". Go to the "Levels" tab and make sure your microphone doesn't have lowered volume.

Did you un-check the "Two Sound Mixing" option?

YouTube doesn't support 2 audios, so if you uncheck the two sound mixing option, you will only hear one audio.
(However, you can hear 2 audios (computer sound + microphone) in Windows Media Player.)
